More leaks: first picture of the Sony a7c camera with 28-60mm lens with specifications and pricing


Here is the first leaked picture of the upcoming Sony a7c mirrorless camera with a 28-60mm lens attached and the rumored specifications with pricing (translated):

  • FF body made for vloggers (as advertised), design similar to cheap A6600
  • 24Mp old cheap sensor (same as in Panasonic S5, but with enabled Phase Detection sensors)
  • Cheap very old tech 2.3Mdots EVF, bad optics
  • 4K 24p and 4K 30p modes with small or no crop
  • 4K 60p and 4K 50p with severe crop (1:1 sampling), prototype had it 100%, but Sony can decide to disable this mode
  • IBIS is present
  • Rear screen is fully articulating, but with reduced resolution, touch screen.
  • Cheap case construction
  • Overheating build in, lacks any heatspreader
  • 3.5mm mike port and a headphone jack
  • Ports prone to breaking (planned obsolescence)
  • NP-FZ100 battery
  • Single SDHC slot
  • Wi-Fi (11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth
  • Lacks pop-up flash
  • USB Type-C port
  • It is all fuzzy with price, Initial estimate
  • Pricing: 2099 Euro for the body only, 2399 Euro for the body with the new pancake zoom kit lens
