Leica is rumored to announce a new Noctilux M 50mm f/1.2 ASPH Heritage limited edition lens


Leica is rumored to announce a new Noctilux M 50mm f/1.2 ASPH Heritage limited edition lens (previously rumored here, here and here). Here are the details:

  • Limited edition - only 100 pieces will be produced
  • Will be available only in silver chrome
  • Price expected to be around €8,500 (approx. $10,000)
  • Shipping will start in early 2021

For comparison, here is the original Leica Noctilux M 50mm f/1.2 ASPH lens that is selling for crazy amounts on eBay (three years ago, a similar lens was sold at B&H for $20k):
