Announced: Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/1.2 ASPH limited edition lens

The previously rumored Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/1.2 ASPH lens is now officially announced. The black version ($7,695) is available for pre-order at Adorama and B&H. The limited edition silver version ($16,395) can be purchased only at Leica stores and boutiques. That’s right, the silver version of the same lens is more than twice as expensive as the black version (only 100 silver lenses will be produced, the black version is also limited edition – only 1757 units will be made)… welcome to the world of Leica!
