Samsung rumored to partner with Olympus on future smartphone cameras

New rumors from Gizmochina - Samsung may partner with Olympus for the development of future smartphone cameras:

"A recent leak by tipster @heyitsyogesh via Twitter, corroborated on Weibo by Ice Universe, has indicated that South Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung is in talks with Japanese camera maker Olympus for a collaboration that could see Olympus producing the camera module for future Samsung smartphones." (via Gizmochina)

I think this rumor is plausible given the recent trend of camera manufacturers working with smartphone brands:

Is this how the future will look for most camera brands – making camera solution for the smartphone industry?
