The Canon EOS R3 is not the flagship camera, the R3 sensor may not be produced by Canon


According to a recent interview with Canon executives, the upcoming Canon EOS R3 camera is apparently not the EOS R flagship... it seems that Canon is planning to release another Canon EOS R model.

Canon also confirmed that they will not share the RF mount with other manufacturers.

There has been some controversy online on whether the Canon EOS R3 sensor will be produced by Canon after the company changed the wording on their website:
