The latest BCN Ranking mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera sales data from Japan: Canon & OM Digital up, Sony & Fuji down

BCN Ranking published their latest full-frame cameras market share report for Japan:

Sony keeps the top share of sales volume by manufacturer . However, Canon, which is in second place, is closing the gap even further, and the battle for the top position between the two companies is likely to be fierce in the second half of the year. OM Digital Solutions (formerly Olympus ), which has been losing market share since the business transfer was completed in January, has finally bottomed out and surpassed Fujifilm for the first time in four months. BCN Ranking collects real sales data from approximately 40% of the Japanese retailers – this is not a worldwide market share report. Please note that this is the mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera report that does not include DSLR and compact cameras. Previous BCN reports can be found here.
