Topaz Labs DeNoise AI version 3.3 released, Luminar AI Update 5 coming next week

Topaz Labs released DeNoise AI version 3.3:

  • New RAW model – Our newest AI model has been trained to provide superior noise reduction, detail, and color accuracy by using RAW sensor data.
  • Improved Comparison View – Simultaneously display the same model using different settings in multiple quadrants and compare up to four models at once.
  • Updated Low Light v3 model – Faster processing and improved image quality
  • Updated DNG saving process – We’ve improved the way we save DNG files so that they’re more color accurate than before
  • New Suggested Mode – We’ll automatically suggest the most appropriate AI model to use based on the qualities of your photo. You can override the suggestion at any time.
  • Performance improvements and plenty of bug fixes – Process improvements to the AI engine, usability improvements throughout the right sidebar, and better handling of how we open image files. Plus, lots of squashed bugs.

The Luminar AI Update 5 has already been soft-launched and will be available for download to everybody in the next few days:

"We’ve already launched the soft launch of the update, and all the Luminar Creators will receive it in the upcoming week. In the SkyAI tool, you now have the smart For This Photo feature that uses content-aware technology to recommend the best sky for your particular photo. Now LuminarAI supports new cameras (Olympus E-P7, Panasonic DC-GH5 II, Pentax K-3 III) and opens raw photos shot on Canon EOS R5 while retaining full information on highlights and shadows. Plus, we’ve caught and fixed 7 minor bugs on macOS and 7 minor bugs on Windows that could lead to unexpected results."

Several other photo editing updates were also released this week:
