Announced: new Samyang AF 50mm f/1.4 FE II lens for Sony E-Mount

The third and last lens from the recent teaser is the Samyang AF 50mm f/1.4 FE II lens for Sony E-Mount that was officially announced today (the previous version is now on sale):

"The AF 50mm F1.4 FE lens, the first runner of Samyang AF lenses, has been reborn to be better, faster, and lighter. The short focal length of 0.40m sets a new standard for 50mm standard angle, and it boasts excellent resolution in all areas of the image. And with the bright F1.4 aperture, you can experience phenomenal background blur and bokeh. With this amazing performance, it is lighter at only 420g.

"A compact and lightweight large-aperture standard lens that mirror-less camera users have always been waiting for is finally released to the world. After 5 years of in-depth research and communication with customers, the AF 50mm F1.4 FE II will become a new standard for standard lenses. The beautiful background blur created by the combination of two ultra-precisely polished aspherical lenses and a large F1.4 aperture makes the subject stand out with its outstanding sharpness. Extremely controlled focus breathing and silent AF performance deliver excellent high-level results for video shooting. Introducing Samyang's second standard lens, the AF 50mm F1.4 FE II, equipped with amazing performance."
