Yongnuo to announce their first full-frame mirrorless autofocus lens for Nikon Z-mount: 50mm f/1.8 Z DF DSM

Yongnuo is rumored to announce their first full-frame mirrorless autofocus lens for Nikon Z-mount - the 50mm f/1.8 Z DF DSM.

In the US, Yongnuo lenses are sold at AdoramaB&H, and Amazon.

Viltrox was the first to sell full-frame mirrorless autofocus lenses for Nikon Z-mount.

Yongnuo recently announced a new 50mm f/1.8S DF DSM full-frame lens for Sony E-mount - I think the new Z-mount version will be based on that lens:

  • Aperture ratio: 1: 1.8-1: 16.
  • Focal length: 50mm (EGF for Sony E APS-C is 75mm).
  • Minimum focusing distance: 45 centimeters.
  • The maximum magnification ratio is 1: 6.67.
  • The optical design consists of: 11 elements in 8 groups, with 6 special optical elements.
  • Automatic focusing with DSM (Digital Stepping Motor).
  • Aperture: 9 rounded blades.
  • AF / MF focusing mode switch.
  • Filter diameter: 58 mm.
  • Programmable control button FN.
  • USB TYPE-C port for firmware upgrades and lens adjustments.
  • Weight: 395 grams.
  • Protected case.
