Surprise: TTartisan releases a new 17mm f/1.4 lens for Canon RF-mount

The already existing TTartisan 17mm f/1.4 APS-C manual focus lens is now updated and available also for Canon RF-mount.

This is an interesting development since Canon has been forcing some third-party lens manufacturers to stop selling mirrorless lenses for RF-mount:

Canon Germany on third-party Viltrox lenses: “Canon believes that these products infringe their patent and design rights and has therefore requested the company to stop all activities that infringe Canon’s intellectual property rights”

Viltrox: “We have been told by Canon to stop selling all RF mount products”
