Canon is rumored to announce a new EOS R6 Mark II camera and RF 135mm f/1.8 L IS USM lens:

  • Canon EOS R6 Mark II RF24-105mm IS USM Lens Kit
  • Canon EOS R6 Mark II RF24-105mm IS STM Lens Kit
  • Canon EOS R6 Mark II Body with Stop Motion Animation Firmware
  • Canon RF135mm F1.8L IS USM

Here are the updated/rumored Canon EOS R6 Mark II specifications:

  • 24mp Full-frame CMOS Sensor
  • Dual Pixel RAW / RAW burst
  • Dual Pixel CMOS AF
  • In-body stabilization
  • Digital Tele-Converter
  • 12fps Mechanical
  • Hybrid Auto
  • 4K 30p (No Crop)
  • 4K 60p (Cropped. The EOS R6 is a 1.1x crop)
  • Canon Log 3/HDR PQ
  • Cloud RAW processing
  • RF/RF-S Lenses
  • SD/SDHC dual card slot
  • Not much change in the form factor over the original EOS R6

Additional information:

  • The Canon EOS R6 Mark II will cost more than the EOS R6 at launch
  • The Canon EOS R6 Mark II will likely be hard to come by for a few months after release.
  • The Canon EOS R6 will likely receive a rebate of some kind.
  • You can buy and shoot with an EOS R6 today, we can’t say for sure able to shoot with an EOS R6 Mark II.
