Nikkei updated its latest digital camera market share numbers on September 10, 2024:

  1. Canon: 46.5% (unchanged)
  2. Sony: 27.9% (+1.7)
  3. Nikon: 11.3% (-0.4)
  4. Fujifilm: 6.0% (+0.2)
  5. Panasonic: 3.6% (-0.5)
  • Total shipments: 7.18 million units (-0.3%)
  • Share of top 5 companies: 95.3%
