We are getting closer to the 2018 Photokina show that will take place in September. Here is an updated list of all upcoming/rumored cameras and lenses:
- Ricoh GR III camera
- Fuji X-T3 (rumors: 20 fps, better battery, base ISO 160, cheaper, new film simulations)
- Fuji GFX 50R
- Fuji GFX 100s (see all expected GF lenses)
- Rumored Leica cameras and lenses
- Rumored Nikon cameras and lenses (incl. new Nikon mirrorless camera)
- Canon cameras and lenses (Canon full-frame mirrorless camera expected after Photokina)
- Zenit full-frame mirrorless digital camera
- Zeiss Batis 40mm f/2 CF FE lens (expected in July/August timeframe).
- Sony is behind on updating their A-mount offering and APS-C mirrorless product line but I have not seen any reliable rumors yet. A new Sony A7s Mark III and Sony a6700 cameras are also a possibility as well as some new E-mount mirrorless lenses (200-600mm, 24mm f/1.4 GM).
- Olympus may announce a new special edition camera or a lens for their Micro Four Thirds 10 years anniversary (2008-2018) or for the company's 100 year anniversary that is coming next year (October 12th, 1919). Olympus doesn't have a booth at the 2018 Photokina show, so do not expect anything big to come out in 2018. A major Olympus announcement is expected in 2019.
- Olympus 12mm f/1.2 PRO lens is a possibility
- Panasonic LX100 camera replacement is long overdue and could be announced before Photokina (LX100 II or LX200?)
- GoPro Hero7 Black camera
- Affordable RED 8k cameras
- Light is planning to release a 9-cameras smartphone
