Why is the new OM System E-M1 Mark III ASTRO camera still labeled as Olympus?


The new OM System E-M1 Mark III ASTRO camera that was announced a few days ago is still labeled with the Olympus brand. Two years ago, OM System already started replacing the Olympus label from existing products:

So why is the latest Astro camera still labeled Olympus? Some readers suggested that OM System already had a large stock of E-M1 Mark III cameras that could not sell, and it would be too expensive to replace the entire top plate in order to change the branding.
