  • Hasselblad HTS1.5 tilt/shift adapter returns to US market after pending litigation involving a patent infringement claim.

  • Canon released firmware update Ver. 1.1.1, which enhances the 61-point High Density Reticular AF System of the EOS-1DX DSLR. This firmware update adds two autofocus capabilities: AF point illumination during AI Servo AF and cross-type AF at f/8.
  • Sony also announced firmware updates for a77 and NEX-7 and few other models.
  • Sony closing camera lens plant, 2,000 to lose their jobs. More layoffs are expected.
