The latest Fujifilm financial reports: increased sales attributes to the Instax camera line

Fujifilm recently reported their Q3 (FY2018) financial report where the company showed increased sales thanks to better Instax camera sales:

It reads that the revenue went up 15.6% when compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. As for the photo imaging business, the report reads that the overall sales “increased due to favorable sales, especially in instant photo systems.” The report adds that the sales increased in the “Year-End shopping season.” In other words, it was thanks to the Christmas shopping spree that so many items from Instax series were sold. As you can see, revenue in electronic imaging increased, which Fuji attributes specifically to the GFX 50S and X-E3 cameras and accompanying lenses. Revenue in photo imaging skyrocketed, eclipsing that of electronic imaging easily, which Fuji attributes to year-end sales of Instax products, which have indeed been highly popular. (Fstoppers)
