Two new Canon PowerShot cameras have been leaked form a recent filing in a Taiwanese government agency. Those are most likely the new products that will be announced at the May 31 press conference. Tamron filed a patent in Japan (2013-83783) for a 35mm f/1.4 APS-C mirrorless lens (50mm equivalent in full frame). Few months ago the company also filed a patent for a new 50mm f/1.8 APS-C lens. The website eoszine.nl mentioned on Twitter that Canon Netherlands will have a press event on May 31. There have not been any rumors about upcoming Canon cameras or lenses. This scheduled press event could be for printers or video products.
