Zeiss Touit updates, sample images, new 50mm f/2.8 Macro coming in October (UPDATED)

Tamron patents a 35mm f/1.4 APS-C mirrorless lens and two new Canon patents

Tamron filed a patent in Japan (2013-83783) for a 35mm f/1.4 APS-C mirrorless lens (50mm equivalent in full frame). Canon press event on May 31st

The website eoszine.nl mentioned on Twitter that Canon Netherlands will have a press event on May 31. There have not been any rumors about upcoming Canon cameras or lenses. This scheduled press event could be for printers or video products.

Olympus PEN Lite E-PL6 camera announced in Japan

    In addition to the E-P5, Olympus also announced the E-PL6 PEN Lite camera. As the name suggests, the E-PL6 will replace the previous E-PL5 model and for now will be available only in Japan.
