Fuji to release a new firmware for the aperture chatter/clacking issue in the X-Pro1

The Fuji Guys hinted on Twitter that a new firmware update for the X-Pro1 that will address the aperture chatter/clacking will be released soon. Now if only Adobe can add RAW support for the camera… Here is a video demonstrating the X-Pro1 aperture chatter/clacking issue:

What else is new?

Rayqual announced nine different Fuji X-Pro 1 adapters for various lens mounts. You can see some samples taken with the Kipon L/M-FX adapter on LeicaRumors. Fujinon 19-90mm T2.9 motorized lens for Super35/APS-C cameras.

Adorama currently has the Fujifilmn X-Pro1 and 18mm f/2 lens in stock. Update: Amazon also has it in stock.

The Fuji X-Pro 1 camera is now shipping in the US, but how about the lenses?

As I already mentioned that the Fuji X-Pro1 camera will start shipping this week in the US, but it seems that this will not be the case with the X-Pro1 lenses – the above Amazon order has a delivery date for the camera but not for the lenses.

Fuji X-Pro1 cameras en route to US dealers, available on April 4th

After the Fuji X-Pro1 has been available in other countries for almost a month, the first US shipment is currently en route to dealers according to Brandon Remler who works for Fujifilm USA. Expect the first shipments to customers to start next week. B&H has listed the availability date as April 4th:

Kipon Leica M-mount lens adapter for Fujifilm X-Pro1 camera now available on eBay

The Kipon Leica M-mount lens adapter for Fujifilm X-Pro1 cameras is now available on eBay for $67.99. Few days ago Kipon announced a whole series of different lens adapters for the X-Pro1 mirrorless camera. Fujiilm will release their own adapter for Leica lenses later this year. Kipon als has a Contax lens adapter for the X-Pro1.
