Zeiss is rumored to announce their new wide angle Otus lens (most likely 24mm f/1.4) in September of this year. Zeiss confirmed back in 2013 that they are working on a wide angle Otus model. Carl Zeiss uploaded few sample images from their new Batis lenses and some of them are taken with an unknown 56MP Sony camera – the pixel size is 8910×6300 (see also this link). Here is the actual image:
The teaser I posted yesterday was for a new line of Zeiss full frame mirrorless lenses called Batis (for now only for Sony FE). The new lenses are already listed on Adorama and B&H. The lenses have a built-in OLED screen that displays focal information and aperture. Technical specifications:
