Fujifilm GFX 50S camera shipment date + new promo videos



After leaking the pricing of the Fuji GFX 50S medium format digital camera and GF lenses, FujiAddict reported today that the GFX pre-orders will start on January 19th and shipment should start after February 23rd. The upcoming Fuji X100F and X-T20 cameras are also rumored to be announced in the same time frame for the CP+ show.

Rumored Fuji GFX 50S camera and Fujinon GF lenses pricing


FujiAddict.com just reported the rumored Fuji GFX 50S camera (see specs) and GF lenses pricing in USD:

  • Fuji GFX 50S body only incl. EVF: $6,499 (B&H listing)
  • Fujinon GF 32-64mm f/4 lens: between $2,299-2,399
  • Fujinon GF 63mm f/2.8 lens: $1,499
  • Fujinon GF 120mm f/4 macro lens: between $2,599-2,699

Shipping will start at the end of February. The official announcement should be in the next few weeks. Other lenses will ship at the end of June (see full list of GF lenses here, pictures of the lenses can be found here).

Breaking: Hasselblad acquired by DJI (rumors)

Back in 2014 and 2015 I reported that Hasselblad was in financial trouble and a potential acquisition was a possibility. Then in November, 2015 Hasselblad and DJI formed "strategic partnership”.

Luminous Landscape just reported that Hasselblad was acquired by DJI - this is not official yet and I am actually surprised that LuLa is reporting rumors but they had a close relationship with Hasselblad over the years, so I do believe their report:
