First, here is a mockup of the upcoming Fuji mirrorless interchangeable lens camera based on the leaked pictures from two days ago (source | flickr):
I also received some additional details: the model name of the new camera will probably be Fujifilm LX10. Still no 100% confirmation on the sensor size.
After months of being out of stock, the Fuji X100 finally dropped bellow MSRP on Amazon. The Fuji X10 is still hard to find as everyone is looking forward to the CES 2012 show where the new Fuji mirrorless interchangeable camera will be announced. Fuji is definitely on a roll.
Fuji was granted a patent 8053661 for an organic sensor. Some readers speculated yesterday that this sensor may be used in the upcoming Fuji LX mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. From the patent’s summary:
An object of the present invention is to provide an organic photoelectric conversion layer exhibiting high photoelectric conversion efficiency, low dark current and high-speed responsivity, and a photoelectric conversion element and a solid-state imaging device each using the layer.
In an organic photoelectric conversion element, for realizing high photoelectric conversion efficiency, low dark current and high-speed responsivity, the organic photoelectric conversion layer used preferably satisfies the following requirements.

Patent 2011216958 from Casio is about stitching images horizontally and vertically – just like creating a panorama image, but you rotate the camera in a circle in order to capture a wider area of the scene:
Here are first six blurry images of the upcoming Fuji mirrorless interchangeable lens camera:
As previously mentioned, Fuji will have their own proprietary mount for this camera. The body and lenses appear to be large enough to be full frame. One of the lenses appears to be f/1.4 with manual aperture ring.
More details: the new camera will be called Fuji LX and probably will have an APS-C sensor. It will be announced with three lenses: one pancake 18mm f/2, the second will be 35mm f/1.4 and the third lens will be a zoom. A fourth 60mm lens is also a possibility.
The Samsung NX200 is now shipping in the US and is currently in stock at B&H. The camera was announced on September 1st.
Update: B&H is sold out, currently Adorama has the NX200 in stock. The new Samsung 85mm f1.4 ED SSA iFunction NX lens is also now in stock.
Ricoh announces the CX6 compact digital camera featuring high-speed autofocus as fast as 0.1 seconds and zoom assist monitor for easier telephoto photography:
Tokyo, Japan, November 15, 2011—Ricoh Co., Ltd. (president and CEO: Shiro Kondo) today announced the development and release of the CX6, a new digital camera featuring a high magnification 10.7x (28-300 mm) optical wide-angle zoom lens that achieves even shorter autofocus (AF) times through the introduction of a new AF system.
In addition to Sony and Nikon, Ricoh will also delay the GXR A12 unit (Leica M mount) as a result of the flood in Thailand. This is what Adorama published on their website:
“Due to the flooding in Thailand the production schedule for this item has been delayed till Feb 2012.
PLEASE NOTE: You can place this item on order and as soon as it arrives we will ship it
We do not charge your card until we actually ship the product.”
