Leica M11-P announced: the world’s first camera with Content Authentication (plus a new Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH lens)




Today Leica officially announced the previously rumored M11-P camera together with a new Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH lens. The M11-P is the world’s first camera to feature technology compliant with both the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) and the C2PA standard – see how this works.

Canon conducted market research for a retro-designed digital camera


According to a post on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, Canon has recently conducted market research through multiple channels about the potential interest in releasing a retro-designed digital camera (I assume mirrorless). I am not surprised, since it seems that Canon is the only company that has not introduced a “retro” model yet.
