Leica to announce a newly rebranded Sigma lens (Leica VARIO-ELMAR-SL 100-400mm f/5-6.3) and teleconverter

Leica will soon announce the previously rumored Leica VARIO-ELMAR-SL 100-400mm f/5-6.3 lens and a 1.4x SL teleconverter (see the leaked US pricing here). The new Leica SL 100-400mm lens will most likely be based on the Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS. The lens will be made in Japan. Leica will introduce a second 2x SL teleconverter with the next Japanese-made zoom lens this summer. Additionally leaked pictures:

The latest Canon rumors: no more EOS R5 Mark II camera, a major R5 firmware update instead

It seems that instead of the previously rumored Canon EOS R5 Mark II camera, we will just get a major R5 firmware update later in 2023. The EOS R5 camera replacement is now rumored to be announced next year together with the EOS R1 flagship camera (expected ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics).
