It seems that instead of the previously rumored Canon EOS R5 Mark II camera, we will just get a major R5 firmware update later in 2023. The EOS R5 camera replacement is now rumored to be announced next year together with the EOS R1 flagship camera (expected ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics). Migrating to a new server, expect some hiccups this weekend

PhotoRumors and all sister sites will be migrating to a new server this weekend (starting at 10 pm tonight EST). With the increased traffic and a large number of posts (almost 12,000 posts. 33,000 photos and over 120,00 comments), it is time to move to a server with a new generation of processors. In theory, the migration should be seamless – we will be using live migration technology that promises no downtime – it will just require a reboot (a downtime of about two to three minutes). Let’s hope that will be all.
