Leica will soon announce a new VARIO-ELMARIT-SL 24-70mm f/2.8 ASPH according to Nokishita. The current Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm f/2.8-4 ASPH lens is often criticized because of its variable aperture. I also expect to see a new/updated Leica SL lens roadmap (see previous SL roadmaps here).
