Upcoming 7artisans lenses

Yesterday I posted about the upcoming TTartinsa lenses. Today I can report on the new 7artisans lenses that will be announced in the next few months:

  • 7artisans 28mm f/5.6 lens for Leica M-mount (see above picture of the prototype lens)
  • 7artisans 35mm f/2 lens for Leica M-mount (the new version will be much better than the current model)

TTartisan lens roadmap: first autofocus lens, 40mm f/2.8 macro lens, new M-mount lenses, and more

TTartisan is working on several new lenses:

  • TTartisan will announce their first autofocus lens in 2022 (probably for Fuji X-mount)
  • The current TTartisan 90mm f/1.25 will come to more mounts, including Fuji GFX (TTartisan recently announced a new 11mm f/2.8 fisheye lens for Fuji GFX mount)
  • Another TTartisan 23mm f/5.6 APS-C lens for Sony/Fuji/Canon/MFT mounts
  • New TTartisan 28mm f/5.6 lens for Leica M-mount
  • Another high-end lens for M-mount - probably TTartisan 35mm f/1.4 Double ASPHERICAL (AA)
  • TTartisan 40mm f/2.8 macro lens coming in September for $150 (pictured above) - here are the details:

Fujifilm GFX 50S II medium format camera rumored to be announced on September 2nd (and other Fuji news)

Fujifilm is rumored/expected to announce their new GFX 50S II medium format camera on or around September 2nd. A new Fujifilm GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 lens is also a possibility.

Update: a new Fujifilm X-T30II camera and Fujinon XF 23mm f/1.4 II lens are also expected to be announced on September 2nd.

Sony a9 camera listed as discontinued

The Sony a9 camera is marked as discontinued at B&H. This could be a system error - something similar happened to the Nikon D850 a few days ago and the camera for sure is not discontinued yet. Adorama also does not list the Sony a9 anymore but you can still find some in stock at Amazon.

Announced: TTartisan 11mm f/2.8 fisheye lens for Fuji GFX mount, silver APS_C lenses for Nikon Z-mount

The previously rumored TTartisan 11mm f/2.8 fisheye lens for Fuji GFX mount is now officially announced. You can order the new lens here (with free international shipping). Updated: the lens is now listed on the official TTartisan website.

TTartisan also released silver versions of their APS-C lenses for Nikon Z-mount.

Most of the new TTartisan lenses are already available for pre-order (some of the listings will be updated in the next few hours):

Cosina will soon announce a new Voigtlander HELIAR Classic 50mm f/1.5 VM lens for Leica M-mount (pictured above) that will probably have a design similar to the current Voigtlander Heliar 50mm f/3.5 lens (see review). Expect the detailed specifications to be leaked soon by Nokishita.
