Last year Photokina got “suspended until further notice” and while I am sure the brand “Photokina” will come back in the future in one way or another, it seems that we now already have a replacement: meet Photopia Hamburg or “Festival of Imaging” – a brand new photography show that is supposed to take place in Germany (Hamburg) from September 23-26, 2021. I am not sure how many companies have already signed up for the show, but the 2021 TIPA awards are set to be announced at Photopia (not that anyone cares).
