A quick update on the previous rumor about the new Tokina ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for APS-C cameras - Nokishita now reports that the new lens will be called ATX-i 11-16mm f/2.8 CF (replacement for the current 11-16mm f/2.8 model pictured above). The official annouannouncementncemnt is expected this week, shipping should start on November 8th. The lens will be available in Nikon and Canon mounts. The suggested retail price is 56,000 yen + tax (around $500).
