This should not be a surprise to PhotoRumors readers (see previous coverage): Samsung India recently twitted that the company has “officially discontinued manufacturing of cameras“. The tweet was posted on January 11, but Amateurphotographer just reported it today:
Tomorrow (February 24th) Panasonic will announce a new Lumix G Vario 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS lens (pictured above).
Also: the Japanese website Nikkan reports that Panasonic will introduce a new 6K 30fps capable camera before the end of their 2016 fiscal year (March 31st, 2017). Maybe this will be the new Panasonic GH5?
