Adobe released Camera Raw v.11.2 and Lightroom Classic CC 8.2 with new Enhance Details feature

Adobe released Camera Raw version 11.2 and Lightroom Classic CC 8.2 with a new Enhance Details feature that will give you a higher quality and more accurate rendition of fine color details in your raw images, particularly those from Fuji X-Trans sensors (see comparisons).

New cameras support added:

  • Nikon COOLPIX A1000
  • Olympus OM-D E-M1X
  • Sony A6400

New lens support added:

  • Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR with different teleconverters

The Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM DS mirrorless lens to have Defocus Smoothing

In addition to the upcoming five new RF mirrorless lenses, Canon will also release a new RF 85mm f/1.2L USM DS lens with Defocus Smoothing - the trademark is already registered by Canon. Basically, we will see two versions of the RF 85mm f/1.2 lens (total of six new RF lenses).

It is not yet confirmed if all six new RF lenses will be announced together with the Canon EOS RP mirrorless camera.

Some additional information on the Canon EOS RP - the kit lens in Japan will be the RF 35mm f/1.8. The following configurations will be available (in Japan):
