Canon EOS Rebel T6/1300D DSLR camera announced built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity

The previously rumored entry level DSLR camera is now officially announced – the new Canon EOS Rebel T6 is a minor update to the previous T5 model – it has built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, new Digic 4+ processor and better LCD screen. Olympus Stylus TG-Tracker camera to be announced next

The next camera to be announced by Olympus will be called “Stylus TG-Tracker” – the name was recently registered at the Indonesian communications agency. The official announcement is usually 30-90 days after the registration. Based on the name, this will most likely be a new action-type camera.

Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens real-world sample photos

Samsung NX500 now discontinued, massive NX1 price drop

The Samsung NX500 mirrorless camera is now listed as discontinued at B&H and is no longer even listed at Adorama.

Venus Optics Laowa STF 105mm f/2 lens officially announced

The Laowa STF 105mm f/2 lens I reported on back in January is now officially announced. The US pricing and shipping dates have not yet been revealed.
