For the NAB 2012 show Carl Zeiss announced the previously rumored 70-200/T2.9 CZ.2 Compact Zoom lens ($19,900) and three new 35mm, 50mm, 85mm/T1.5 CP.2 Compact Prime Super Speed lenses ($4,500):
During NAB Canon is expected to release a new EOS C500 cinema camera: “It is 4K at 120fps with EOS RAW via 3G HD-SDI… At 60 fps EOS RAW from the C500 is 12 bit. This drops to a still impressive 10 bit at 120p. The C500 also pumps out 1080p, 2K and Quad HD.”
Zeiss is rumored to announced a new compact lightweight 70-200mm f/2.? tele zoom lens at the NAB show in Las Vegas next month. The lens will be available in Canon and Nikon mounts.
