In addition to start making AF lenses for Canon and Nikon, Samyang is also planning to start making zoom lenses – first for the Xeen line of cinema lenses and then autofocus zoom photography lenses. All this is according to another recent Samyang interview with Focus-numerique:
In a recent interview with Focus-numerique, the head of product planning at Samyang Jeong Min Shin said that autofocus lenses will be coming also for Nikon and Canon mounts (already reported here on PR) and that the Fuji X and Micro Four Thirds markets “are not very important” and will not get any AF support:
