A new Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 lens is rumored to be announced by the end of the year (will replace the current Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD lens):

As previously reported, the Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD lens for Sony E-mount is now officially released (see the details here and here). Pre-orders are now open at Adorama and B&H. The MTF chart and lens design diagram can be found here.
