Sony has two more Cybershot cameras to announce: DSC-HX9V and DSC-HX100v

On February 2nd, 2011 Sony will announce two high-end point and shoot Cybershot cameras: DSC-HX9V and DSC-HX100v. Here are the expected specs of the HX9V model:

  • 16MP Exmor R CMOS sensor
  • 16x zoom (24mm on the wide side)
  • 3" LCD screen
  • 1080i movie mode
  • 3D sweep panaroma
  • 3d still pictures
  • Background defocus
  • 10fps
  • GPS tagging
  • USB charging
  • HDMI
  • Price: between $300-$400

The HX100v will have similar specs but with 30x zoom (27mm on the wide side) and a price tag above $400.

It seems that Cnet covered that camera already by mistake as you can see by the numerous tags and links with the "HX9V" keyword on their websites. Check those Google cache links for more details: here and here.
