Fuji X-Pro1 cameras en route to US dealers, available on April 4th

After the Fuji X-Pro1 has been available in other countries for almost a month, the first US shipment is currently en route to dealers according to Brandon Remler who works for Fujifilm USA. Expect the first shipments to customers to start next week. B&H has listed the availability date as April 4th:

Samsung NX20 and NX210 updates

The above image was taken with the upcoming Samsung NX210 camera. I had to strip the EXIF data in order to protect my source, but here is a screenshot of the main parameters: The Samsung NX210 will be very similar to the current NX200 model ($899) but with built-in WiFi.

Most of the current models from companies like Amphibico, Nauticam and Ikelite are very expensive and made for just a specific camera model – once you upgrade it, you will also need to buy a new housing. From the patent application:

Panasonic GF5 announcement on April 5th

Voigtländer APO-Lanthar 90mm f/3.5 SL II lens is now discontinued

Voigtländer APO-Lanthar 90mm f/3.5 SL II lens for DSLR cameras ($549) is now listed as discontinued on Cosina Japan website. I guess this lens did not sell that well because it was announced “just” two years ago. Curious to see if Voigtländer will announce a replacement at Photokina.
