Sigma DP-3 available for pre-order

The new 46MP Sigma DP-3 Merril camera (50mm f/2.8 lens) is now available for pre-order with a price tag of $999. The estimated shipping date is early March, 2013. Sample images taken with the DP-3 can be found here.

German retailer lists new Samsung NX 50-200mm f/4.0-5.6 i-Fn OIS lens

The German retailer Fotokoch has two new listings (white and black version) for a new Samsung NX 50-200mm f/4.0-5.6 i-Fn OIS lens. Panasonic to double sensor’s sensitivity with unique “micro color splitters”

Panasonic Japan announced today that they have developed the technology for producing highly sensitive image sensors by using unique “micro color splitters”. LumoPro published a teaser for their upcoming LP180 Quad Sync Manual Flash. Cokin announced Pure Harmonie filters – the thinnest and lightest filters in the world. Kodak completes $527 million transaction related to digital imaging patents. Lomography introduced a new 400 ISO color negative film which gives naturally infrared results.
