    Interval shoting, max99 frames .
Nice, you can make a 4 seconds time lapse with that camera (at 25img/s.)

    • NDN

At 25 img/s that is called a movie, google it.

      • Arn

        and ?
When you assemble a time-lapse sequence, you make it at 25 or 30 images sec., just like a movie, of course.
don’t try to explain me how to make movies & time lapse, it’s my daily work… 🙂

        • Duncan Dimanche

          hahaha love it !
          NDN should google time lapse

      • MJr

        That’s the point dimwit.

Im getting really sick of technology getting smaller simply because it can be.

Do camera manufacturers forget there was a time that cameras were big and had only 1-2″ lcd screens, yet we still bought them? Now they feel they need to make cameras as small as possible, squeezing in the biggest screen they can, leaving no room for important features.

I have no doubt at all that this camera could have had a 2″ lcd, built in evf, and a FF sensor. Give it an OM mount and bam, camera of the year, sales are through the roof.

Modern cameras are jam packed with tacky bullshit features, excess buttons and knobs. If they stuck to the basics, it would fit in the cameras body and photographers would love it. Screw the lemming consumers.

I have an Epson R-D1s and its a dream to use. Aperture ring on the lenses, shutter speed dial, iso dial on the shutter dial (lift and turn). Everything you need to take photos, no menus to access basic features. Flip the screen around and its like a 35mm camera.

The best handling automatic digital slr ever, would have to be the Panasonic Lumix L1. Manufacturers should take a look at both of these cameras to see how a simple layout is done. Even Panasonic should, they have forgotten, and they made it. AND, it was good enough for Leica to rebadge it!

Cameras and sensors are getting smaller while the screens and features are getting bigger. Lenses are cheap plastic junk with no aperture rings, with focus by wire, and they make a new mount every few years to squeeze more money out of you.

All the consumers who complain about the cost of a Leica would probably be surprised at how much they have spent on their different systems with different lenses over the years.

At least with a Leica you’re buying a real traditional handling camera, with real lenses that will be compatible with every new body, and it will last forever.
