Panasonic to announce a new firmware update v2.2 for the Lumix GH4 camera

I received some information that today Panasonic will announce a new firmware update v2.2 for the Lumix GH4 camera. The new firmware will include:

  • Anamorphic (4:3) mode with 3328 x 2496 video recording (8.3MP)
  • 4:2:2 / 10 bit HDMI output
  • New 1/16,000 shutter

Panasonic is also rumored to announce a new 4K Micro Four Thirds camera today.
