About the “debunked rumor” for a Sony camera with a 36MP APS-C sensor

A known clickbait site today "debunked" a "fake rumor" about a new Sony camera with a 36MP APS-C sensor. The only problem here is that this same site reported that exact same rumor last year, twice:

So yea, don't believe everything you read on the Internet, especially when it's coming from clickbait sites with a well-established history of reporting fake news, hoaxes and made-up stories (some examples available here, here and here). Obviously reporting rumors on upcoming cameras is not an exact science, and I have had my own mistakes in the past, but please use your common sense the next time you read an overhyped title with exclamation marks at the end.
