The new Z CAM E2 Cinematic Micro Four Thirds camera (replacement of the Z CAM E1 model) leaked online prior to the official announcement at the 2018 NAB show next week. The website is no longer available, but you can still access it with Google cache here. The camera specifications are:

  • 4K @120fps, 10 bit color, H.264 & H.265 (10 bit)
  • 4/3" Sony CMOS sensor, pixel size = 4.63m
  • Micro Four Thirds lens mount
  • Gigabit Ethernet port for control setting & live streaming
  • iOS app for control setting & live preview
  • 4K @60fps HDMI, SDI (option)
  • Deep Learning Engine built in with SDK
  • Global shutter variant to be available soon
  • The $33,880 price tag is obviously just a placeholder, the previous Z CAM E1 was initially priced at $599
