Here is an updated list of all upcoming/rumored cameras and lenses that will be announced for the 2018 Photokina show:
- New Ricoh GR camera
- Fuji GFX 50R
- Fuji GFX 100s + new GF lenses (not expected for Photokina)
- GoPro Hero7 Black camera
- Rumored Leica cameras and lenses
- Rumored Nikon cameras and lenses (Nikon still has another event on September 25th, but I don't think they will announce anything major)
- New Irix product
- Canon may announce a new camcorder
- Three Sigma cinema lenses (updated: announced today)
- Two new Sigma lenses (one is rumored to be 70-200mm f/2.8)
- Zeiss mirrorless digital camera
- Zeiss Otus 100mm f/1.4 lens
- Zeiss Batis 40mm f/2 CF FE lens
- Sony is way behind on updating their A-mount offering and APS-C mirrorless product. A new Sony A7s Mark III and Sony a6700 cameras are a possibility as well as some new E-mount mirrorless lenses (200-600mm, 24mm f/1.4 GM) but I have not received any reliable information yet.
- Olympus may announce a new special edition camera or a lens for their Micro Four Thirds 10 years anniversary (2008-2018) or for the company's 100 year anniversary that is coming next year (October 12th, 1919). A major Olympus announcement is expected in 2019. Olympus 12mm f/1.2 PRO lens is still a possibility, but I have not received any reliable information yet.
- Panasonic already has a Photokina countdown but we still have no clue what they will announce - I am very skeptical of the questionable reports for a new Panasonic full frame mirrorless camera (it will definitely not have a Leica SL mount)
- Profoto B10
- Light is planning to release a 9-cameras smartphone
- Affordable RED 8k camera
