New: Kodak Pixpro AZ1000 camera with 102x optical zoom


At the 2018 Photokina show Kodak had on display a new super-zoom camera with 102x optical zoom: the Pixpro AZ1000 will compete with the Nikon P1000 and Sony RX10 models (I forget to include this new camera in my Photokina coverage). Here is what we know so far - the new model is now yet listed on Kodak's website:

  • 102x optical zoom lens
  • 20MP BSI CMOS sensor
  • 3" vari-angle LCD screen
  • 4K video at 30fps
  • JPEG and RAW support
  • 19.5-1989mm f/3-6.8 lens
  • ISO range: ISO 100 - ISO 3,200
  • Weight: 777g
