CFexpress 2.0 specification announced, five companies to start producing CFexpress memory cards


Last week the CompactFlash Association announced new CFexpress 2.0 specification with up to 4000MB/s maximum theoretical performance. We now also have six companies that will produce CFexpress memory cards:

Nikon will release firmware updates with CFexpress compatibility for the following cameras: Z6, Z7, D5, D850 and D500.

The new Panasonic S1 and S1R mirrorless cameras will also support CFexpress.
