Adobe sent emails to customers warning them about potential legal actions for using older versions of Creative Cloud apps

Adobe is in the news again for a third week in a row (after "testing" $20 per month Adobe Photography Plan and no longer offering older versions of Photoshop and Lightroom): the company now sent emails to customers warning them about potential legal actions for using older versions of Creative Cloud apps:

"We have recently discountinued certian older versions of Creative Cloud applications and as a result, under the terms of agreement, you are no longer licensed to use them. [...]

Please be aware that should you continue to use the discontinued version(s), you may be at risk of potential claims of infringement by third parties"

The latest Adobe CC subscription plan rates can be found here (see also this page). A free Lightroom CC trial is available on this page (no credit card required). More information on the different Lightroom versions is available here and here. The different Adobe Creative Cloud options are described here.

Adobe Creative Cloud is on sale through May 17th in the US, Canada and Mexico: for a limited time you can save 40% on the Creative Cloud All Apps and All Apps + Adobe Stock plans:
