Olympus yearly financial results are out: Imaging Business lost $157 million, revenue down 19%


Olympus published its latest financial results for the fiscal year ended on March 31st, 2019. Here are the details for the Imaging Business:

  • revenue: - 19%
  • mirrorless: -23%
  • compacts: -18%
  • other (?): +14%
  • operating loss: ¥17.1 billion (around $157 million)


The forecast for fiscal 2020 doesn't look much better - the Imagin Business is expected to lose money again:
