OM System is rumored to announce a new Tough TG-7 camera (waterproof, freezeproof, shockproof, crushproof, dustproof) next week (on or around September 13th). It seems that the new model will be a marginal upgrade from the current Tough TG-6 model:

  • 12MP 1/2.3" backlit sensor
  • "Olympus" brand name changed to "OM System"

The Olympus Tough TG-6 camera was already discontinued in Japan:
