On February 2nd, 2011 Sony will announce two high-end point and shoot Cybershot cameras: DSC-HX9V and DSC-HX100v. Here are the expected specs of the HX9V model:
- 16MP Exmor R CMOS sensor
- 16x zoom (24mm on the wide side)
- 3" LCD screen
- 1080i movie mode
- 3D sweep panaroma
- 3d still pictures
- Background defocus
- 10fps
- GPS tagging
- USB charging
- HDMI
- Price: between $300-$400
The HX100v will have similar specs but with 30x zoom (27mm on the wide side) and a price tag above $400.
