Ricoh Japan announced another production delay for the HD Pentax-D FA 70-200mm f/2.8ED DC AW lens ($2,296.95) that was announced back in February. This lens was already delayed once before. Ricoh did not provide a new release date, but B&H now has the expected availability date as February 25, 2016:
Ricoh has a patent for a camera with a built-in dock for a smart phone. Another Ricoh patent is for infrared AF assist lamp (Nikon recently filed a similar patent). Canon has a patent for a new 24-300mm f/4-5.6 lens.
