Fuji X100 estimated price: €1000/$1200

In an interview with Adrian Clarke of Fujifilm, dpreview learned that the anticipated Fuji X100 camera will have an “estimated” price of €1000/$1200 and is on schedule for March 2011 release.

Polaroid “GREY” press event is today

Polaroid is expected to reveal the next generation of instant cameras today at 3:30pm PST as part of the series of announcements during CES 2011. The word on the street is that Chase Jarvis will be involved in the event. Lady Gaga also seems to have some involvement in this project.

Pentax released new firmware for K-5, K-r and 645D

Pentax just released new firmware updates not only for the K-5, but also for the K-r (ver. 1.01) and 645D (ver. 1.01) cameras. The firmware can be downloaded from network.pentax.eu. Update: the firmware updates are now official.
